ASPI Installed but failed to initialize 0xEB ASPI is properly
installed but unable to initialize (0x%02(x)). What is the problem
with this as a result of this my 1394 external devices and scanner
cannot be used. On my other computers I had no problems with it.
Suggestions ? did a KillASPI and then reinstalled. I have a Gigabyte
8IEXP with 2.4 ghz processor. Tips ? All my other softwares like CDRW
are unable to qwork because of that. As I am trying to use the scanner
from within MS Office and unable to get it working to scan some images
for a presentation.

Try posting to a group that deals with ASPI problems or your scanner. It is
not Office related and the experts who could help you with that sort of
problem are more likely to be found in a hardware group or in an Operating
System group.

You might also want to try the Adaptec Help and Support forums that they
probably have on their web site under Support. It may be a known problem
for which they have posted updated drivers or a workaround.
