Hi I have a Word document template. At the end of this template I want to
place the contents of another template I have, including its headers and
footers.

If there an easy way to do this, as copy and paste doesn';t bring over the
yeaders and footers.

Thanks

Alex

I've never had occasion to do this but it would be interesting to try :)
Unfortunately I don't have the opportunity to do so at the moment but here's
what I would try;

Open the "lead" template & at the very end create a Next Page Section Break.
Then - while in the new section - use Insert> Document to add the "following"
template to the file. Save As - Template with an appropriate name.

If you try it please post back with your results, pro or con. Perhaps there
are some other approaches to be offered. If it fails please include details
about the structure of each template as well as your exact version of Word &
what went wrong.

Hi Bob

Tried that today with the following results:
1. The second document adopted the styles etc of the first document.
2. The Headers and Footers of the second document didn't come over.

Will continue to play
