Add a sequence number(question number) to a paragraph which has a question and 4 options and answer

Hi,

I have paragraphs(questions) in the following format:

Which one of the following Sections of the H Act, provides conditions of marriage ? ----Question
(a)Section 2 (b) Section 3 -----4 options (a)(b)(c)(d)
(c)Section 5 (d) Section 4
Ans. (c) [2002,2012] ------answer and year


The paragraph has question , 4 options and answer and year.
I want to add a question number to it which is in sequence to other questions.

For ex -

Q.417. Which one of the following Sections of the H Act, provides conditions of marriage ?
(a)Section 2 (b) Section 3
(c)Section 5 (d) Section 4
Ans. (c) [2002,2012]

Please help!
