Add an image

Hi, I have tried and tried, but I can not figure out if it is possible
and if so, how to insert an image within one cell. I have been asked to
take a job log and add a column with an image of each job at the end of
their row.
I have tried the Excel Help and can not seem to find anything that
helps. I have tried the most obvious and anything that looks remotely
like it will do what I need, to no avail
I am out of ideas, Please help.

You can't find it 'cause it ain't there :)

AFAIK it can't be done - even with VBA (but someone may prove me wrong on
the VBA part - coders *hate* the word "can't" 8})

Your best bet is to simplify your life if you can by creating uniform images
in a graphics program scaled to the right size & placing them on the
appropriate row... although you may also want to think about outputting to a
Word table, adding a column & inserting the completed graphics there, among
other possibilities.

Cells can contain only values or formulas. Pictures always exist on the
drawing layer "above" the cell grid.

However, if you position an image over a cell you can choose
Format/Picture/Properties/Move and Size with Cells to make the picture
resize with the cell it's over.
