Add Comment / Note / Post-it to a message

I want to be able to put a 'post-it' note/comment on messages received that I can view from the Inbox list. This way if I have several e-mails with the same Subject line I can add (look at) the comment to see a one line detail about the message. The idea is similar to the Comment feature in Excel. Any ideas?

What you're describing is not possible, however, you have some options.

Consider using the flag icon to flag messages that you want to act on
later. Or consider using the Links feature to link a message to a note
for further information.

Unfortunately, you do not have any options to create tool-tip types of
notes.
