Is it possible to add either a link, ole object, something to the database?
Here is what I'd like to know if it can be done: We have 'files'
(hard-copies) related to the records in the database. We are converting all
these documents to electronic files (pdf, watermark) and I'd like to know if
I can 'link' each file to the specific record in the database, and be able to
open this document the same way you open an attachment in an e-mail, or an
embedded document in word, etc. The custom access database form has this
field for 'comments', and this is where I'd like to put the 'shortcut' to the
document. The final product I expect is: Open a record in the database, and
this record would contain the extra document related to it. (original
application, revisions, etc)
Any comments are appreciated. Thankyou!
