Add documents to a non Published project version (PS 2003)

Cnegroni

Hi, I'd like to know if it is possible to add documents to a project when its
version is not the Published one (for example, "Formulation"). It seems that
is not possible because I can't see non Published projects in the Documents
section in PWA, but I need a reason for that.

Thank you

No, I do not believe this is possible because the Published version is the
working copy of the project. Hope this helps.

Not sure if it is an option for your business needs but you may consider
using a project entity custom field to indicate the status or stage of the
project. This will allow you to publish the project at any stage of its
lifecycle. Then configure a project center view to include your custom field
and perhaps even group by it so projects under a draft or planning stage for
example can still be viewed. Once the project is published you may add
documents to the project workspace, along with other information about that
project.
