Add favorite files in Office 2003

I would have excel open. Go to File>open which then brings up the open dialog
box with all of the files in a folder. In the old office I could single click
on the file and then go to Tools and click Add to "Favorites". Now in the
Office 2003 the only option that it gives you is Add to "My Places". How do I
add Files to my favorite Star icon.

In the Open dialog box, navigate to your Favorites folder and then from the
Tools menu (in the upper right corner of the dialog box) click "Add to My
Places". This will add a shortcut to your Places bar so you can use it
instead of the Tools menu.
