"It does not work" doesn't tell us much :) What version of Outlook are
you using, and what are the exact steps you've already tried?

I also can't get this feature to work. I right click an
appointment, select 'Label' from the context menu, and
click a color. Returning to the calendar, the item
remains uncolored.

If I right-click the appointment again, then I see that
under 'Label' the 'None' option is still checked.

I am using Outlook 2002 (10.2627.2625)

What happens if you open the appointment form, select a color from the Label
dropdown, save the appointment, and close?

Jocelyn,

If I do as you describe, and exit then the appointment
does still not appear colored in the calendar view.

However if I go back to the appointment form, then the
color choice is there. It has been saved, but does not
appear in the calendar.

Also note that if I right click the appointment in the
calendar and select a label, the choice is also saved and
can be confirmed by opening the appointment. But as I
stated below, if I right click the appointment
again, 'None' is shown as the label.

Regards,
Tim

I didn't find any MSKB articles on this issue, so the only things I can
suggest to try are the Inbox Repair Tool (if you're using a .PST file --
make sure you let the tool back up your file before it repairs anything)
and/or Detect and Repair from the Help menu.
