add-in word 2000 dll error

I'm using Word XP and got the following error. Can you
suggest the right fix to stop this from happening again?
I can certainly disable the add-in but assume I'll need it
for proper operation.

Here is the error:
"word experienced a serious error the last time the add-
in 'Microsoft word 2000 dll' was opened. Would you like
to disable this add-in?"
