add information about the message recall feature in outlook sendin

It seems that the client used by the user that recalls a message is providing
the message to show on the target user's screen when the recall message is
clicked.

I work in an international company and many people have their systems in
Non-English even though the company language is English. I opened a "Message
Recall" message and a dialog box opened with the title "Message Recall" and
then in French (probably) the message that the original sender would like to
recall a certain message.

Needless to say that this is not the expected behaviour as my system is set
to English and i don't speak or read (very well) French.

The expected behaviour is that outlook is showing the message in the local
users language not in the remote users language. In the actual recall
message there should be at least an english message (for systems that do not
recognize the "Message Recall" message).

PS: I somehow don't expect Microsoft to solve this as they also have
problems changing their records to show that i would like to receive messages
from them in English even though my mail address suggests i am located in
France.

PS2: I wonder how i can get a response to this message (since i don't use
the Passport Hotmail accoutn for e-mail but just for MSN Messenger)

All I can say is that message recall flat out stinks. It *rarely* works, if
ever - has a very specific set of requirements that are likely not to be met
in most situations. I suggest you tell all your users to avoid it.

What usually happens is that the recipient just gets another message saying
"X would like to recall message Y" - and doesn't actually do it - so that
the recipient gets a chance to review message Y more closely to look for
embarrassing or confidential info. Teach people to be VERY careful before
they hit send.

Re replies - this is a newsgroup, and if you use the web interface to the
groups, you won't get the best experience. Replies go to the group, not to
the e-mail address of the sender.

Consider using a newsreader like Outlook Express or Forte Agent instead-
it's a lot easier to do nearly everything there, including searching, which
is always a good idea to do before you post, as well as mark messages to be
watched, and filter based on replies to your posts.

The Microsoft public news server is msnews.microsoft.com and you can
subscribe to as many groups as you like.

That said - sorry I can't help you with the language issue, as I do not use
Message Recall at all. And I do hope you even see this reply. ;-)

French message is simply ridiculous. I wonder what would happen if a Japanese
colleague recalls a message. Perhaps the system would ask me if I want to
install some Japanese character support before showing me a message that I
can't read anyway (This is what lots of Japanese made websites do even if
they have only English text on them when I browse them using IE).

As I got to this reporting system from the Microsoft support sites I assumed
that this is the proper way to reach Microsoft so they can fix this issue in
future versions of outlook/exchange.

Sorry I can't help you there. Try posting in an Exchange group. Message
Recall is an Exchange thing, not an Outlook thing. And it Does Not Work
Reliably. Period.
