Add-ins will not work

I found some add-ins I would like to use in one note. However, when I
install them they will not work. At first, the buttons are available, but
when I press them, nothing happens and the buttons are then no longer
available. Is there something I am doing wrong? I am using office 2007, xp
home.
Another question, is it possible to send a document to one note from word
and have it set up and look like the document from word and yet be able to
copy/paste from it. If you "print" it to one note, it turns it into a pdf
type of document. If you copy/past it then it goes into a text box and is
not formatted like it was in word.
Thanks

For the addins, follow these steps:
1. First, when you click the button, does the addin open a window "below"
onenote? If so, just move that window to the top.
2. If that doesn't work, exit OneNote.
3. Either use taskmanager to ensure onenote.exe and dllhost.exe are not
running. If you don't know how to do that, restart the computer. Do not
start OneNote
4. Uninstall the addin(s).
5. rerun setup
run with administrator rights
if given a choice to install Everyone or just current user, select Everyone
6. Now start OneNote and try again.

Sorry for the problems.

None of these worked. I uninstalled the addins (make subpage and page set
up) went to msconfig and turned off the one note launcher, restarted computer
and finally reinstalled. I then restarted the computer and opened one note.
Each of the add in buttons were in the toolbar and available (I could click
on them). However when I press them they just gray out and cannot be pressed
again. The addin's are not opening below one note. I have admin rights and
I allowed everyone to use.
Thanks for your help on this.

I am also having this problem. A few addins, such as search and
replace, template manager, printout manager, and make subpage do work,
however copy to device, sort sections and pages, and onenote favorites
will grey out.

I am using Vista pre SP1, and onenote 2007 with SP
