Add-ins

When I try to modify Word 2007 (sp2) Add-ins I get the following message:
The add in is installed for all users on this computer and can only be
connect or disconnected by an administrator
I am the administrator.
When I tried to open Word 2007 as "Run as administrator" it is not an option
in the drop down menu although it is for other software.
I am running Windows Vista Ultimate sp 1
Any idea how to break the Word/Vista trap I am in?

Thanks Stefan,
As I said the strange thing is that "run as Administrator" is not a menu
option for Word 2007 and yet it is for other software. It’s as if Word knows
I am the administrator. On a second computer running the same version of
Word and Vista Ultimate I get the same behaviour, namely that Run as
Administrator is not an option for Word (or any other Office software I have
tried) and yet it is for other software such as WordPad for example
I am caught in a Word 2007/Vista trap.

If you are not allowed to Run as Administrator, log in to *Windows* as
Administrator instead; that way, you can get rid of the add-in.

Look in Add and Remove Programs (Control Panel); there might be an uninstall
available for the add-in. If you can't find one, simply delete the add-in
from Word's Startup folder.
