I'd like to add a non POP3 account from microsoft exchange/outlook

that comes in to outlook 2003 is forwarded to my gmail account. Any

That would be a server-side setting.
You need to check whether your server allows that.

You can set a server-side rule using Outlook to forward all incoming
mail to your Gmail account. Some companies would frown on this but if
yours doesn't then it will work even while you're away from work.

Hope this helps!
