add months

I am building a form in which i need to add differing timescales to a date,
luckily there are only three timescales to add....4 months, 6 months & 12
months. I will use a drop down list with the 4, 6 & 12 months in it. How can
i add these to the date of the form?

i.e. now date=12/01/06 (add 4 months) next date=12/05/06 ?

InfoPath 2007 has built in functionality for date math, but for IP2003 you will need to write code. If you are using managed code like C#, this should be a pretty straight-forward process.
