Add new dimensions to (timesheet) OLAP cube?

Hi
(PS2007, SP1 + PIU)

People are reporting time via Timesheet page.
I defined a "task level" custom field with lookup table (enabling to
categorize tasks types according to our company criteria).
So I'd like to build OLAP Cube Data Analysis report to know "time spent" per
"task type" from the "Timesheet" EPM cube: ie table like
-------------------------------------
Quater/month/weeks
task type: time spent
-------------------------------------

What are the steps to add "task type" custom field as dimension for
"timesheet" OLAP Cube?
I tried to add this custom filed as a cube dimension but dimension only
appears within "Task Non-Timephased" OLAP Cube..
Did-I missed something?
Am I using the right "timesheet" cube (among Timesheet, EPM Timesheet or
MSP_Project _Timesheet)
(Rules for adding new cube dimension are not so clear to me)

Thanks for your help

Seems to an area of common concern. I have same issue with custom project,
task and resource attributes not being able to be displayed in
MSP_PRoject_Timesheet. I have heard there may be a problem with this..but
cannot find a confirmation. Here is what I have learned..
-Timesheet cube holds Project Specific and Administrative time reported, NO
Customized fields available in this cube.
-EPM Timesheet cube Project Specific time only, no Administrative time, NO
Customized fields available in this cube.
-MSP_PROJECT_TIMESHEET Project specific time only, DOES include CUSTOMIZED
FIELDS.

I am trying to do exactly the same thing you are, but I cannot get
customized Project, Resource or Task fields, in the MSP_PROJECT_Timesheet
cube.

I am adding my comments so I can watch this thread and the contributions. I
have a need for solution in this same area. Thanks for asking the same
question. Sounds like we are not alone.
