Hello Lucy,
I'm afraid that's impossible... ;-(

Isn't that curious? I think somebody way up in the Microsoft hierarchy hates
the Dutch - highlight colors in word lack orange as well. :))

Could it be that orange is out of gamut (or highly inconsistent) from
monitor to monitor...

(I have heard of some cultures on this planet (can't say about other
planets) that orange is not recognized as a color like red or blue...)

Lucy,
Ok, some of the guys say Orange is not appropriate or out of favor and
Gerard says it is impossible. I take a different approach. How many
Gantt Chart identifiers do you want? Or a better question is, what
exactly are you trying to do? There is very likely an alternate approach
that could meet your needs.

Could be,but as a color for font it is present in Word (not to highlight)
And AFAIK all cultures in the world recognize it as a traffic light color..
