Add resources Through PWA.

Can an admin add a resource through PWA only without adding them through
Project Prof2003 and checking out the enterprise resource pool. We have a
security group here whose function it should be to add new people to all IS
functions of the organization. If they have to add them using Project
Professional (which would be the ONLY time they use it), it seems a waste of
licensing $$$.

I have tried to add a new user using PWA only, and they don't seem to appear
in the resource center summary view. I've double checked and don't have any
filters applied to that page.

If you wish to add resources to the Enterprise Resource Pool, you cannot do
this through Project Web Access. You must launch Microsoft Project
Professional, log into Project Server with administrator permissions, and
then check out the Enterprise Resource Pool.

Have you considered using the Active Directory synchronization feature of
Project Server 2003 for this purpose?

I was afraid you'd tell me that...we may have to consider using Active
Directory. Thanks for your help.
