Add Swish/Flash Intro to Frontpage Website

Hello,

I have a FrontPage Website (built with FP XP) with themes
and navigation, etc. using FP's features.

How do I add a Swish/Flash into to the first page, having
it appear only the first time the visitor goes to the
website, without having to redo the menu structure?

I've already figured out how to get it on the index.htm
page itself, but would rather see the flash first, then
click a button to change to the index.htm which has my
main/top menu on it.

You would need to move the current site content to a subweb, if supported by your host, if you want
to continue to use FP navigation components and then place a index.htm file in the root with your
flash, with a link to index.htm in the subweb.

If your site is already indexed by the search engine, then doing this will break all link coming in
from the search engines.

You need to consider if this flash element will add value for those users visiting your site?

Please don't. Splash pages suck, and do nothing but alienate visitors
and eat up bandwidth.

When I go to a brick and mortar store, I don't get put into a separate
room when I first enter, telling me where the hell I am. In the same
sense, I don't want to be put on a different page when I go to your
site.

Of course, if you ignore my suggestions, you just may find your page
"featured" on
