Add the Office shorcut bar back into to Windows XP.

The Office shortcut bar was a real plus in previous versions. The XP start
meunu is ok, but having that little shortcut bar in the upper right corner of
the screen was very convenient.

The shortcut bar was a part of Office, not Windows. Windows already
provides means to list shortcuts via a toolbar, plus there are many third
party programs that replace the OSB.

The next version of Office will not have one either.

Milly, thanks for the reply. You're right, I should have worded that
differently. The OSB stopped after Office 2000. By any chance, can you
point me in the right direction for some of those 3rd party replacements for
the OSB?

Actually, the OSB was included in Office XP as an optional installation.

Try here for some suggestions:

There are several listed that may suit your needs.
