How can I stop Word 2003 from thinking that a file extension is a
misspelling? For example, if I type "I'm sending you the .tif file." Word
thinks that tif is a misspelling. I tried adding .tif to the custom
dictionary manually but Word still didn't like tif. In fact, it offered to
change tif to .tif which gave me ..tif. I prefer not to add tif to the
dictionary so that Word will still catch me when I misspell "tiff" as "tif".
Tha same thing happens with some other extensions such as .xls.
