Add to address book

Hi,

When I place an email address in the "To" window, I go to Tools and click
Add to address book. But the email address isn't getting added. 1. It
doesn't automatically come up when I start filling in the address in a new
message and 2. It isn't listed in my Address Book. Why isn't this " Add to
address book" functioning for me?

When I place an email address in the "To" window, I go to Tools and click

You'll know if it's working because the Address Book entry will actually pop
up for you to edit.

Try control-clicking and choose Add to Address Book, see if that makes a
difference.

Frankly, until you posted this, I didn't know you could add to the address
book while composing a message. You might be better off switching to the
Address Book and adding new contacts there, or adding them from /received/
messages.
