add to dictionary grayed out

Running Vista Home Premium and Word 2007. All updates have been installed.
I have had the problem since instaling MS Office 2007 two years ago.
I have the languages set correctly but Add to Dictionary is still grayed out.
I can edit and move the custom dictionary so I have full rights to it.
I have the problem when logged into Vista as a standard user.
If I log in as an Admin the problem goes away.
Any further suggestions?
