Add Trend Line Not Available

When I try to implement a trend line in an already
existing report, with the series selected on my graph in
design view, the Chart --> Add Trend Line option still
is greyed out. Is this because not all of the Add Ins
were installed when my Access 97 was installed?

My PC was recently switched to a corporate version
of Access 97 without the Wizard options. Does this
possibly also have bearing on my situation?

What is the chart type? Not all of them support adding trend lines. Line charts and
Column charts should allow you to.
