added email accounts do not show but double when receiving

Hi there

I used the import function to bring in my 20 mail accounts from Express. But the accounts don't show. So I tested by hitting the 'send/receive all' fucntion which shows 40 accounts. Still couldn't them, so I used the technique described elsewher ein this web site, to create seperate views 'by email acocunt'. I only see 4 of the 20, the others just don't seem to exsit. but I keep on getting email alerts saying that there is new mail, in the other 16 accounts. System is win 2000 sp4, Office pro XP, with512 ram, and 20 gigs free hd space on a 1 gig Athalon

Does anyone know anything that can help? My email account is (e-mail address removed)
