Hi all new to the 2008 excel.
How do I get the results in my Table to change color based of their value (i know in 2004 how to do it). But i am seeing on the images on some sites that excel will even insert arrows based on the value going up or down.
e.g. like putting red to the highest and so on hope someone understands what i am trying to get at.

You can do this with conditional formatting, the same way as in 2004.
However, the 2008 feature set for this is not as comprehensive as in Excel
2007 for Windows; which is probably what you are seeing.

I believe you're referring to Conditional Formatting which is applied
exactly the same in 2008 as it was in 2004 - Format> Conditional Formatting.
The "embellishments" you mention having seen were probably done with Excel
2007 on the PC. Those features haven't been brought to Mac Excel as yet -
and probably won't be until the next major release some time down the road.
