Addin Deployment Issue

Hello

I have developed an addin for Office 2003 (Word/XL/PPT). Things work great
until you log in as another user into the system. At that point, the addin
does not load. That is, until you re-register the DLL. Can anyone tell me how
to get around this annoyance so that I can properly deploy my DLL?

(Hope this is not a duplicate question)

I have tried the suggestions in the post with no success. Is there a
potential security restriction that may cause the addin to not load under
restricted users?

Is an addin not just a simple COM component? Is there any other elements to
integrating with office. For example, do I NEED a document template? What is
the 'SHIM' that was mentioned? Why was it not mentioned in the original
documentation?
