Hi,
I have an addin, which was implemented using .NET and the IDTExtensibility
interface. The addin adds GUI elements to XL (a toolbar &context menu).
Now when closing Excel I want to make sure, that those GUI elements are
hidden. During the next startup of Excel the addin should decide wether those
elements should become visible or not. Now, when setting those elements
visible=false in the IDTExtensibility::OnBeginShutdown or
IDTExtensibility::OnDisconnect methods it seems to be to late. During the
next startup Excel does not seem to remember that the state of those elements
was visible=false and shows them visible=true.
Can someone recommend an event or a strategy on how to accomplish the
purpose I am aiming for?
Thanks in advance,
Ralf
