Addin - Word another instance doesn't work

Hi

How to get the active Document in Word?
If i open a file from File menu or from the right "New Document" bar, my
addin can't get the active document property.
Any one help what is the problem with this?
I am doing it in VC.

and same question form me, but i'm working in C# and I have also that problem.

Another finding that I have is, only the first instance of Word initializes
the OnConnection() & OnStartupComplete() functions. but when you open a
another Word these functions are not called and no action is fired in this
Word window.

Please help me out.
