Adding 1 or 2 more bars to a task in Visio 2003

I am working with Visio for the first time and need to make a Gantt chart. I
noticed how each task (row) only allows for one "bar". Is there a way I can
have 2 or 3 bars per task (row)?

But each row is a task?
A task has a start and end .... not multiple starts and ends..

Hello Stacey,

You can also link tasks together (select two or more tasks, right click
'Link') so one follows on from another, although as David points out,
they're still only one row per task.
