Adding a checkbox that toggles on and off.

I know I can add a checkbox and double click it to select Checked from the
Check Box form field options window. How can I add a check box or something
very similar that toggles checked/unchecked if I just single click it?

Hi, Steve,

You can try the checkbox add-in template that Charles Kenyon offers at
http://www.addbalance.com/word/download.htm. It uses macros and autotext
entries similar to the ones in the Professional Fax template that comes with
Word.

For a nonprotected document, the advice Jay gave you is good, but for
completeness I should point out that if you are using a Check Box form
field, then you have to protect the document for forms in order to check and
uncheck it with a mouse click. Since this has serious repercussions for the
rest of the document, I imagine this is not what you intend.

I'm not familiar with forms or what you mean by this. Could you please
elaborate just a bit? I don't want to cause more work than it's worth.
