Adding a command to link forms

To all: I would like to add a command with Macros, or any code, to
form that will automatically link forms using the Primary Key. I a
not using "Auto Number" for the Primary Key. I would like for the cod
to automatically add a unique number as a primary key and when a use
selects the command, it would add 1 to the primary key. For example
the main form would be 005 and the linked form be 005.01. When th
command is selcted again from main form, it would be 005.02 etc...
would greatly appreciate any code or ideas.
