I'm using user roles to limit functionality and access for a very large
network of people. This works perfectly for everyone in the domain.
However, I have people outside of the Americas domain, ie... there are other
domains AsiaPacific, etc... I've found that these people can have base level
access to the form but I can't grant them any higher level of access. I
believe this is because InfoPath doesn't list their domains to search for
their NT Login informaiton within the "Locations" section of the user roles.
I'm a bit confused how it is able to verify them for even base level but
unable to find them for increased level access. I have not found a way to
add Domains to the Locations to search in. Is there anyway to do this?
If not, I saw some other posts about using an XML form with User Login info,
would this require that I change my entire access process. Eliminating User
roles completely and using some sort of access level flag?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
