Adding a field to the default message

Hi All,

I have read about the formsadmin but it made no sense to me. (about
classes). All I want to do, is add a custom field to the default email
message. Is there an easy way to do this?

Thanks

Chad

OK, I got the formsadmin to work. Now when I create a message, the new
field is visible.

But, if I reply/forward a message that wasn't created with this field, it
doesn't show up.

Also, when I print the sent message, the screen doesn't show the new field,
but it prints on the printout. Is there a way to make it visible.

Thanks
Chad

If you want the field to appear, you need to include it in the form layout,
both compose and read versions.

On the custom form, you may want to set the reply form to your published
form.
