Adding a font

Am a new Mac user from PC. How do you add a font to those that come with Word 2008? I have a font that I have used for years on my documents, and would like to be able to continue to do so in Word for Mac.

Hi Connie -

Your best bet is to get familiar with the Font Book app supplied with OS X.
You'll find it in your Applications folder. It's a relatively simple,
straightforward font management program & its Help should give you all you
need to know.
