Hello,
I am running an XP Pro SP2 machine with a trial version of Office 03 pro. I
want to add a new hard drive to my system as my boot up drive and have my
current drive a storage drive. My question is...do I have to uninstall my
trial version of office in order to install it on the new primary drive? I
am planning on reformatting the old drive after I successfully install my
new drive.

Thank you

Save yourself a lot of grief and use the DRIVE COPY software from the
manufacturer of the new drive. Then you won't need to reinstall everything.

Hi Bob...I appreciate that answer...but I dont wish to "copy" everything
from the old drive...I think I will be safe and just uninstall and reinstall
Office on the new drive...

Then the "uninstall" is moot. Remove the old drive, install the new
drive, then install the operating system, drivers, software etc.

Since the trial version is time-limited, it seems like a LOT of hassle for
short-term usage.
