Adding a new Project

First time accessing Project Server, and I'm wondering how one creates a new
project or even imports one created using a standalone version?

Am I missing some software - is there a client install I require as I can't
even create a task without an associated project?

Hi Scott,

It may be that you are accessing using Project Web Access (PWA) via
your web browser.

If you are a project manager, then the other piece of software you need
is MS Project Professional 2003. This will allow you to create a
project and then import.

To import, go to Tools > Enterprise Options > Import Project to
Enterprise.

Also, normally your admin "connect" the MS Project Professional 2003 to
the server by going to the Start ... MS Office Project Server accounts
and creating a new account that links to the server.
