Adding a new style font

I have been tring a new style font call rock star which is
mostly pictures. I have tried to drag and drop it in the
fonts folder and when I open the folder I can see it but
when I use my worp program it is not listed. I have tried
to go to chacracter map to try and cut and paste it in my
document but it is not listed there. Is there any other
way to add a new style font so that I can use it in my
word program. I am useing office XP

Is the font a TrueType font? You should be able to right-click on it to
see.
