Adding a new table to a split database...

I have a split database, and we need to add a new table... I am working on a
backup and want to see if this is feasible to do. Once I have the table done
in the backend on the database do I have to split the database again? How can
I do this correctly?

Add the table to the back end database.
Open the front end and link to it.
If you have multiple users, you will have to redistribute the front end.
