Adding a newline with a cell

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: intel

How do I create more than a single line with a cell. I know that the PC version of Excel using <alt><enter> to start a newline within the cell but I can't seem to find the right combination for Mac Excel.
