Adding a photo to a contact in address book

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Power PC

Is anyone else unable to drag & drop an image into the picture field in a contact's address card? I've tried downsizing the image, changing image formats (i.e. from jpg to bitmap, etc) and I can't add a photo. I even went to my MacBook and tried... same problem. Any help would be appreciated!

Still works for me.

You need to determine if the problem is your Identity, your User folder or
the base system files.

1. Switch to a new Identity in Entourage and see if you can add in a new
Identity. If yes, then it's your database. Rebuild
2. If it isn't your Identity, then create a new User in System Preferences
and test there. If it works in the new User, then the problem is in your
User's folder.
3. If it failed in the new User, then it's your OS files. I would first try
the Apple combo updater. If that fails you will need to do an "Archive &
Install"
