Adding a Scan of a Business Card to a Contact?

In an ongoing process of trying to rid my life of clutter I would like
to get rid of some of the business cards that I have. Is it possible
to add an actual scan of a business card to an Outlook (2007)
contact? I am not talking about just adding the information but I
would like a JPG of the actual card. I know there are business card
scanners but I think I would be able to do the same thing on a flatbed
scanner, what I can't figure out is how to add this scan to a contact.

isn't there a place to put the contact's picture on the General tab? Just
put the jpg of the business card there instead.

Bad idea, since that location isn't big enough to present a readable scan of
a business card.

Put your cursor in the Notes section of your contact and then on the Insert
tab select Picture.

Thanks Roady, that worked great. As a follow up does the JPG (or
scan) become part of the contact file? In other words in once I scan
and insert if I delete the orginal JPG will a backup of Outlook
contain the JPG?

Mike

Put your cursor in the Notes section of your contact and then on the Insert
tab select Picture.

Yes, the scan in contained in the Outlook item then and doesn't have any
connection anymore to the original file location.
