adding a second profile

How can I add a second profile to outlook. I have a cable
modem and connect to outlook w/ pop and smtp. I want to
be able to see both accts at once.

You are asking two different things now;

Adding an extra profile; Control Panel-> Mail-> button Show Profiles->
button Add...

Adding an extra account so you can see both;
This means configuring an extra acoount in the same profile which you can do
in Outlook by going to Tools-> E-mail Accounts-> select Add a New E-mail
Account-> button Next-> follow on-screen instructions
