Adding a start page

I want to add an introduction page at the beginning of my web site. I know
how to add additional pages after the first page, but is there a way to
insert a page before the first page?

Thanks,

Couldn't you just name the "start page" index.html and then the viewer can
"click here" to enter site? Is that the kind of start page you are talking
about? Just call the new page home.html or something. Don't know if I am
talking about the right thing or not but I hope maybe I helped. :) Good
luck to you.

Hound Dog,

Your main "Frst page can be named index.htm, index.html,
default.html, and others. index.html is the most used, and this all
depends on the server software running. index.html is a safe bet.
Rename your existing index.htm to home.htm and create a new page.
Save this new page as index.html and on this page place a link to the
home.html. You can also use a redirect to the home.html without a
link.

Thanks for the help.

Your instructions were easy to follow and did the trick.

Thanks again.
