Adding a video

Hello,

I'm adding a short video to a web site using FP 2003. I inserted it in the
page but when I publish it's not there. It's a .mov file, do I have to change
the format of the file? Thank you!

Thank you. Yes, I figured that but right now I'm just trying to figure out
how to get it on the web page. When I insert it and publish, nothing shows up.

You must import the file into your current open FP web / Site and then create a link to it, then you
need to use File Menu | Publish | Web / Site to the live/remote server.

Hello,

I still have not resolved this issue. I have it in my files and created the
link to it but still nothing happens. I tested it from my file and it works
but I'm must be missing a step. Here's the page it's on, please scroll down
to where it says "Video of Carts in Action" and you can see what's happening.
(or not happening) http://www.customcartsonline.com/cc.htm

Thank you & Happy Holidays!

1. Requires users to have Apple QuickTime installed.
2. Take a while to download on cable.

Yes I know. I have it installed and when I click on the link I get nothing.
Do you have Quicktime? Did it open for you? Do you mean it takes a long time
even with a cable modem and that's the issue?

T

Thomas A. Rowe

Yes, it opened, but it took about a minute or so, and I have hi-speed cable connection.

Thank you. I have DSL : ( and waiting five minutes and it still didn't open.
What do you suggest I do to change the situation. Can I change the video to
open in another player? What is the most popular player?
