Adding Access 2003 to Office 2003 Small Business

We recently bought 5 computers and nobody realised that Office 2003 Small
Business didn't come with Access 2003 (Aren't small businesses the primary
users of Access?)

Anyway, my boss went out and bought 5 copies of Access 2003 upgrade, I just
noticed however that although Office XP Small Business is noted in the
allowed upgrade path list Office 2003 Small Business isn't.

Before I open these boxes and ruin any ability to return them can anyone
confirm that I can use this please.

Hi, Victoria,

This is a cross-grade, and Microsoft doesn't support them. If it's not
listed on the box, it's probably not valid. Good for you for checking
before opening!

I've called them and have had good luck speaking with a real person for

Check for following site for upgrade requirements:

http://www.microsoft.com/office/access/howtobuy/default.mspx

As these are new computers, check to see if they came with Microsoft Works
which is listed at the above site as a qualifying product for Access 2003
upgrade.
