Adding additional fields to Project Server

Has anyone ever been able to add additional custom fields to Project and
Project Server after you have used up all of the custom Enterprise fields
that come with the product? If so, how?

We have run out of Enterprise text fields for resources for a large site and
have used the flag fields creatively to accomodate a few, even some of the
custom number fields with descriptions to handle some more, but need even
more.

I don't believe that this is possible. Relief is on the horizon, however, in
the next version. I think the limit will be something like 10,000 fields.
