Adding an item to a contact management switchboard

I am using the contact management database in Access 2000.

I have slightly customised it by adding some of my own reports and queries.

I would like to add buttons to the swithboard which would open my reports,
not just the 'alphabetical contact listing' which came supplied with the
template.

Unfortunately, it looks a little complicated - I think there is some clever
coding going on in that switchboard! I know nothing about vba and wondered
if it would be simple to achieve my aim? If so, could somebody provide some
idiot-style advice?!

The switchboard was created using the switchboard manager in Access. Open
Tools | Database Utilities |Switchboard Manager
Click on Reports Switchboard | Edit | New
In the box that appears Give a name to your Report
In the command box select Open Report
In the report box select the name of your report.

Close the switchboard.
That is all that is required.
