Adding an mp3 to a PP animation

Hello, I'm trying to have an mp3 (Marvin Gaye - Let's Get It On) play
when a picture appears on one of my slides, but when I try to link it,
PowerPoint says that the file "contains an unrecognized sound format",
even though the Help File lists mp3s are supported. Any help would be
appreciated...
