adding animated *.gif's to a text box

simple ? (I hope the answer isn't "NO")

is there a way to add an animated *.GIF file to a text box; it looks to me
as it is only possible to add a *.BMP file...
maybe there is a work-around solution?

With Excel's native text box control ... NO

You would have to find a 3rd party control that supported this
